Wow. I can see a lot of uses for this technology in the future. In ten years, or even less, I can see that the local printshops will have one or more of these machines that will be a centralized point of production for a community. Instead of paper, we will be storing different types of plastics and metals for production. I had heard about this technology but I have always considered it to be pie-in-th-sky thinking. Now I see it as a possible process.

Thanks so much for the remarks. It is always a bit murky to predict what will happen in the future, but I think this technology has already shown promise and interesting applications.
Those who are accustomed to designing CAD files for packaging should also have an easy migration to using tools like Google’s Sketchup too.
