Your Website’s as a Tripod
For any website (commercial, blog, news, etc.) there are three points to get right. Without these three “legs”, you website is not balanced and is as useful as a two legged table (hint: it doesn’t stand up to well).
- Make it all easy to find.
- Allow others to share, promote, and scream about your goodness.
- Let visitors know what else they can do with you. (Referred to a lot these days as a “call to action.”)
Here is how the re-designed M-bossed has made these steps easier.
Navigation
- New Toolbar: it’s dynamic and shows you where you are at on the site

- “On the Newstand” are links to the last 5 posts in the right hand sidebar

- New Topics & Archive: Simple pulldown menus (right sidebar) to find similar articles based on topics or search past months and years using the older articles.

Sharing
- If you like it, share it on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, etc., with these easy to use buttons.

- Do you think the article is spot on or think it is complete rubbish? Either way, share your opinion in the comment section. Just remember to keep it clean.

Call to Action
- Subscribe to M-bossed through RSS. If you are a new visitor to the site, you will see this unique message on your first few visits.

- Stay tuned.
Question: How are you implementing these three pillars on your sites?<
