You show it, they will come.

A few industry suppliers and printers have been using YouTube to broadcast everything from about us videos to tutorial based webinars. For those who have ventured into video, countless others are cautiously wading into the world of video. Two new services are going beyond the limitations of YouTube to offer live, streaming video – Ustream.tv and Stickam. These live services go beyond YouTube to offer interactivity with the
audience. Viewers can ask questions through chat, twitter, or video
chat, depending on the service. Each recorded video can also be viewed after the live event. Simply register for an account, hookup a webcam, and get creative.

Both services have attracted big time talent with unique shows. Actor, Kevin Pollack, hosts a talk show on Ustream. MTV Canada offers backstage access on Stickam. Print09 was the launching pad for this type of technology. Kodak streamed the K-Zone talk show sessions live from the tradeshow floor using the Ustream service. The good news is that everyone can use this technology, it is close to free, and easy to use.
